Avon Spring Limited Edition Part 1

Hey everyone, hope this Wednesday finds you well!

Today's post is on the new limited edition Avon collection. When I first saw it in the brochure, the packaging immediately grabbed my attention. Have a look at how beautiful those eye pallettes are:-
For Avon, that is pretty nice packaging, wouldn't you agree? As you know, I'm a sucker for such things, and ended up ordering all of the range, bar from the other two lipsticks in the collection. (One was a beige nude, and the other a light purple creme. Both would have made my teeth look super yellow!)
So, I'm going to split the collection in two so that the post is not too long, and today I am going to show you the two nail varnishes in the collection. On the left you see Apricot Mystery and on the right is Star.

First up, is Apricot Mystery:-

Apricot Mystery is a warm peach creme that leans slightly towards being a pink. Too bright to be considered a pastel, but not bright enough to be a sherbet. It is a perfect colour for spring however. Apologies for the glare- the sun was shining! (A rare treat for Birmingham!)

Next up is Star:-

Star is wonderful opalescent white shimmery varnish that borders on being a frost in my mind. In the right light, it takes on a silvery hue. It is beautiful. Do you think this is a borderline frost? I'm always concerned whther my descriptions are accurate or not!! If all else fails, just enlarge the pictures and let the varnish speak for itself... lush.

So those were the two nail varnishes in the Avon spring limited edition collection. I absolutely love both of them, and I cannot wait to show you all the looks that I have created with the eyeshadows and the Supershock Gel Eyeliners (which are simply FANTASTIC, btw!)

Swing by again soon!

  1. I've had bad luck with Avon nail colours. Never dry and take too many coats. Apparently this is a new formula so I may give them a go
